Gyatse Gorge of the Tsangpo in SE Tibet, 2007
The 1998 Chinese team portaged Gyatse Gorge (also spelled Gyantze). A team organized by Windhorse Adventures team (Willy Kern, Jed & Peter Weingarten and Tracey Bowerman) completed the first descent of the lower 35 miles of this 50 miles roadless canyon ( 29.340828°, 90.761943° to 29.128574°, 92.595336°).
Gyatze Gorge is not a good repeat run.
