Gyatse Gorge of the Tsangpo in SE Tibet, 2007

The 1998 Chinese team portaged Gyatse Gorge (also spelled Gyantze). A team organized by Windhorse Adventures team (Willy Kern, Jed & Peter Weingarten and Tracey Bowerman) completed the first descent of this 50 miles roadless canyon (29 14 47N, 92 11 43E to 29 08 05N, 92 32 01E).

Gyatze Gorge is not a good repeat run.
